The last issue of the European Journal of Cardio-thoracic Surgery features an editorial comment on the manuscript by McElnay et al -in the same issue- comparing outcomes after uniportal or standard VATS lobectomy.  Uniportal approach for lung lobectomy has been shown to be feasible but its advantages for the patient are far to be evidence-based.
