Two weeks ago, the new Chief of our Department, Dr. Jimenez, became Professor of Salamanca University. His teaching project was designed around the importance of student’s clinical training, even in the earlier years of Medical School, and the homogeneous evaluation of this training.

Only three days later, the entire department was reunited to celebrate Dr. Varela’s farewell dinner. Everybody wanted to recognize Dr. Varela’s commitment to the Department and to patients’ care.

We are facing changing times in our Unit, but we will keep working with enthusiasm and commitment to maintain the previous achievements and to aim for new ones.
